We made arrangements on February 15 to meet a lady named Conception in the morning to take us and a few other tourists on a walking tour of Seville. The purpose of this tour is just to get us acquainted with the layout of the town and to provide us with some good advice about the logistics of a good visit to Seville. I definitely think is was worth the 15 euros/ person to get this kind of service. Conception provided an ear piece for us to wear so that we could hear her properly as we navigated some busy little streets with lots of noise and people. During the walk, I was blessed by the spirit of Seville, from above, when a pigeon pooped right on my head.
Later in the afternoon, we visited the church of San Salvador.
In the late afternoon, we walked to the Plaza de Espana. This incredible place was built for the world fair in 1929. Today, locals and tourists flock to the space for their evening "Paseo" walk or stroll which is something Spaniards very much seems to enjoy.
