The Journey to Seville Spain
February 13, 2020 was a very long travel day for us. We estimate that we did not get any sleep for 32 hours. I would not advise this type of self induced deprivation to anyone. We survived a 2.5 hour drive to the airport, 8.5 hour flight to Amsterdam, 2.5 hour flight to Madrid, 1/2 hour taxi trip to the Madrid train station, 2 hour train trip to Seville and another half hour taxi ride before our driver found our accommodations hidden within the narrow streets of the city.
Despite being exhausted, we still managed to find ourselves in a nearby tapas bar for some food and wine before a much needed sleep.
